The Soroban Master app ("the app") is an educational mental‑math (abacus) app provided to schools, teachers and students. This policy explains what data we handle and why.
Accounts are created by the developer or by a participating school — not by users themselves. There is no public sign‑up and no guest tracking. Students sign in with a username, teachers with an email address, both with a password set by the school.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers, and the app contains no third‑party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Account and progress data are stored on the developer's or your school's server (the API the app connects to) to show your progress and your class ranking, and are cached on your device so the app works offline. A teacher can see the progress of their own students only.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties. Data stays on the developer's or your school's server.
The app is intended for use within schools under teacher supervision. Accounts for minors are created and managed by the school, which is responsible for obtaining any required parental consent.
Progress is kept while the account is active. To change or delete an account or its data, contact your school or the developer. Deleting a teacher account also removes its students; deleting a student removes their progress.
Passwords are stored hashed. Connections use HTTPS. Database credentials are kept only on the server, never inside the app.
